Stadtband

Developed at KISD (2021) in the midterm course Ecology and Design, Stadtband is a flexible, 3-meter strap designed as a smart companion for eating and socializing in urban space. Equipped with snap buttons, it can be attached to vertical structures throughout the city or wrapped around the body and bike for transport.

Emerging from the project Streating, which explored the practice of eating in the streets, the design reclaims urban objects as sites of comfort, gathering, and play. Created together with Carlo Hatke, it represents an adaptable tool for everyday urban life.
