2021
Blindspots
Developed at KISD (2021) in the course Design Theory and Research, this two-week photo project explored hidden processes of globalization and digitalization. Together with Anastasia König, I documented automated systems in airports—guidance structures, security checks, and invisible flows of data—translating them into a visual narrative that reveals what usually remains unseen.
The photographs shown here are my own.
2022
Sünners
Created during a seminar at Politecnico di Milano (2023), this documentary project led me back to Cologne to capture the Sünner brewery, founded in 1830 and known as the city’s oldest brewery. The series reflects on place, production, and atmosphere through on-site photography, linking academic exploration with personal urban roots.
